Hotel location was nearby cellular jail.Hotel room according to facilities wise was also good. Hotel staff behaviour was nice.Wifi facility was there but signal strength not good. Breakfast wise average food quality...You can stay there...to enjoy andmaan ...tour...!!!

An acquaintance had been here few days before us. And because we were hard-pressed for options, we finalised on this place. It is one of the few properties that offered a family suite kind of thing, wherein the 4 of us could be accommodated into a single room. It is a mere 10 minutes drive from the airport, but a bit off the main road. The nearby shops are all wholesale ones, and to buy anything, you would have to take a few steps further and get it from the market. Location is pretty convenient that way. The room was on second floor, and there was no lift. There were lizards in the corridor, and no exhaust in the bathroom. They did not have toilet paper! Not that it was not placed in the room, they do not provide it! That was quite a weird thing. The restaurant, and the hotel in general, is understaffed. So, you have to wait a lot after placing the order, and to even get the table cleaned. The complimentary breakfast was packed and given to us, because the buffet setup wouldn't have been ready in time for our check-out (our ferry was at 8 am). It ended up being only sandwiches and a tetra pack of mango drink. The room had tea kit and enough towels, but was small and stuffy. Would I recommend this one? If you are out of options, and looking for a budget place, then probably, yes.

Stayed from 5th Jan to 8th Jan 2019.Situated at the centre place , very near to CLOCK TOWER, CELLULAR JAIL, RAJIV GANDHI WATER SPORTS, ABERDEEN JATTY, ABERDEEN BAZAR,, NEAR THE MARINA BEACH.Rooms are very clean. Food is superb. AC is good. These is gyser also.RO water is also provided. Not all rooms are of same size. Deluxe rooms are good.Some rooms are very small and no window. We booked online.We changed to a room which had a small window for proper ventilation. So before finally using your room kindly check the condition yourself. We did it. Enjoyed our stay there with good food ..rooms are cleaned daily. Complimentary breakfast is yummy. Dinner is of your choice.Lunch not provided as boarders go out for sight seeing.ANTHROPLOGICAL MEUSIUM is also near by. And it's opposite to historical Bengoli Club .Directly opposite to it is BENGOLI RESTAURANT ....SWAPAN...which is known for its delicious food.Lunch is available in Thali.You can order yummy meat and Bengoli sweets and sweet curd HANDY DOI OF KOLKATA...It's very tasty. Huge rosagulla of Rs. 50 /-is so delicious. Seafishes like prawn, Hilsa, Katla, tuna, crab etc available. One more famous ADI BENGOLI HOTEL is nearby bus stand. But did not find the food so tasty. AUTO is better option for sight seeing .It's cheap.Found AUTO DRIVER Mr. Arun Devnath is very friendly and full of information's like tourist guide. His auto rickshaw numver is ANO 4390...and his mobile number is 9474242501.

We have checked in to the hotel on 30-Dec-2018. Hotel was in the prime location & hence was bit noisy. Its near Clock Tower hence Restaurants and few other tourist places are at walk-able distance. However Hotel is unhygienic and overprice with disoriented Staff. There was a weird smell which hotel staff was trying to suppress by putting room sprays which has making us uncomfortable and it was extremely suffocating. We were there just for a night & we had the Cruise booked for 31-Dec-2018 morning. So my suggestion is, if you are taking any basic hotel in Port Blair you can book the hotel without Breakfast as most of the Cruises start from Port Blair from 9AM on-wards & you will not have time for breakfast at the hotel & also breakfast will not be ready so early. In the name of packed Breakfast all you will be given is just juice & biscuit. So you can book the hotel without Breakfast if you have plans to take 9AM Cruise from Port Blair to Havelock.

We reached this hotel to find the rooms not available even after booking confirmation. After some arguments the rooms were arranged. In the evening there was a noise by the guests whose belongings were moved to accommodate other guests in their absence. The rooms were ill-maintained fro example water ran out of taps in the morning, flush was leaking. . .
